Bayboro Harbor, located on St. Petersburg's downtown waterfront, offers boat owners virtually every amenity under the sun. The Bayboro Harbor Naval Base originally supported United States Coast Guard (USCG) antibootlegging operations before it was decommissioned in 1933.

The Harborwalk Promenade opened in 2009, transforming the Bayboro Harbor area into a wonderful seaside boulevard. Referred simply as St. Pete, this area is one of the most important ports in the nation. Harborage Marina - St Petersburg waterfront The Coast Guard Station dates back to 1928 and has grown into one of the country's largest commands. Coast Guard duties continue to grow, aiding in search and rescue, homeland security, waterways management, law enforcement, and boating safety.
